so my mother in law to be has bought an ivory dress to wear for my wedding.........!!!!!

- dancing_girlI'm with the other girls: it's one of life's unwritten rules that unless you're a bride you do not wear white or ivory to weddings! Have you said anything to her? Xx

- dancing_girl@mizza1987 Oh! Well I think it's pretty piss poor of her! All I can think is that's she a teensy bit jealous. However, your dress is absolutely stunning and you will look amazing in it. You will be the one whom everyone looks at. Just put her at the back in all the photos! Or hope for a blistering hot day and make her wear her black cardi! Seriously, I know you're upset (and I would be too) but just don't have her standing directly next to you for any of the photos and it shouldn't look too bad. Although I suspect it will be commented on by a lot of the guests. It's a shame your h2b doesn't feel able to say anything to her, I expect part of it is just that he's a boy and doesn't get the whole clothing/colours/co-ordinating bit, and then like you said, he doesn't want to upset his mum. Don't let it get to you too much, you will still have an amazing day, and you never know, she may come to her senses before the wedding! :o) Xx
