So we are booking the venues at last next month, cant wait :) Then we finally can start booking things.
We went to a wedding show last week and had a look at some chair sashes etc. We had a couple of DJs speak to us, one turned out to be my old Salsa teacher which was quite amusing. He offered a good price then went round the corner to discover an "all in one DJ" who acts as a toastmaster, DJ and also had all of the decor we were looking at (light curtain, starlight dance floor etc) and we are possibly going to meet him at the venue once we have booked it to see what he recommends :)
For the photography we are going to go with my friend who is a photographer, he has already done 2 of my friends weddings and he is good so happy with that.
I have now finished cutting the card bases for the invitations and ordered some postcards for the save the dates.
I think i need to go back to my list now to see where to go next with all the wedding planning.
Unfortunately I cant take as much joy in it as the moment having now started my new job, but at least my new job is going brilliantly :)
