              Piddletrenthide. My mum lives there. Where are you getting married dancing girl? We are hoping to have our reception at Kingston Maurward, Dorchester or the Eastbury in Sherborne. We are going down to Dorset this weeked to meet the vicar and fix a date and also to have a look a second look at wedding reception venues. Can't wait!! x

                • dancing_girl@laubabeuk   We're getting married at my parish church which is Holy Trinity RC Church in Dorchester and then our reception is at Athelhampton House & Gardens. I can't wait! :o) Xx

                    @dancing_girl   That sounds great. I considered Athelhampton but discounted it as I was worried it would be too expensive. Our budget is around £12,000 for the whole wedding. do you think that is too low to consider Athelhampton?

                    • dancing_girlNo, that's pretty much what our budget is! But depends on how many people you're having, what food/drink etc among other things. Worth asking if your date is available, and then if it is, going to have a look and see what they would quote. Xx
