Hubby and I got married on 8th of September 2012. We started TTC following our 1st wedding anniversary and got our BFP on 28th/29th of September :) I'm a social worker for children with disabilities. I also do charity work at a weekend with children and young people with disabilities :)

Got another early wedding present today: £50 John Lewis Vouchers. Not quite what we had in mind with our wishing well but nevermind, it's the thought that counts so I'm sure we'll find something to spend them on

lol @gina130284 Not at all. We had a poem about people not buying us presents but spoke of a contribution to our wedding wishing well. It's prob our own fault because we didn't mention money in the poem....xx

laraandsteveSome people just don't like giving money. Steve's BM and wife gave us a voucher for 2 to do an indoor sky diving experience. Lovely idea except you can only use it Monday - Friday so Steve will have to use one of his remaining 5 holiday days and it's in Manchester!! (80 miles away) and we asked for money in our poem!! X

gina130284@laraandsteve See that would really annoy me- it'll cost you enough money to get there and get something to eat during the day as well!! Why can't people just respect your wishes and give what you've asked for!!

laraandsteve@gina130284 It annoyed me too as we opened it before the day and all I kept saying to Steve is 'I hope no one else has ignored our cash request!!' they didn't although I have had a little moan that we didn't get one bottle of bubbly. I know, I'm a contrary Madame!!
You're right Gemma, it was her idea and it's clearly something she wants to do! I can't even sell it as they're friends and will want to see pics! X

lol awwww! Well, to update you, I did what @gina130284 suggested and stuck them on Ebay for £45 and someone has bid on them already P.s, It looks like we'll be down in Doncaster the 1st weekend in November to have a post wedding party with my Grandparents from Yorkshire so hopefully we'll be able to meet up then xx

OMG lol that's not even funny. I want a good honeymoon. At this rate, we won't have much money to take with us ourselves so kinda relying on people being kind to us on the day xx
