Hubby and I got married on 8th of September 2012. We started TTC following our 1st wedding anniversary and got our BFP on 28th/29th of September :) I'm a social worker for children with disabilities. I also do charity work at a weekend with children and young people with disabilities :)

I do not have the correct words to describe our Best Man (H2B's Brother) right now but they would not be nice if I did. All I can say is that he is VERY ungrateful for the ticket H2B just bought him to come to our wedding and he really doesn't deserve it. H2B should not have just gone ahead and bought it this morning without properly consulting with me again because as his Wife2B...

emmloucan you not change the name on the ticket? if hes not grateful tell him if he doesn't want it you will offer it to someone else! what is it with some men? x

It's got worse... H2B and his Brother have now fallen out and so H2B is going to try and get the ticket name changed to his friend who can replace him as best man, or his parents (unusually for them) offered to refund the ticket. I am in the process of writing my own message to him and making my points ... politely xx

@jen150912 Basically, he was told not to come by h2b's parents cos they couldnt afford for him to come because they were busy paying for him to resit exams. So rather than check out the situation with us, he spent what money he did have. So we looked into paying, but didn't get much enthusiasm even though it's very financially inconvenient for us. He started to ask H2B for money for pointless things instead but H2B wanted to be kind and have him there. We told him there would be 6 or 7 hours wait in the airports to get him here cheaply. He said he didn't mind, but then went to H2B's parents and moaned about it. H2b bought the ticket then found out about his moaning and challenged his lack of enthusiasm and he wrote some ranty messages to him online saying he didn't need his Brother's pity or gratuity. So H2B told him to jog on and is going to cancel the ticket or try and get the name changed to someone who will give us the money back for it... I am fuming at his Brother x
