Hubby and I got married on 8th of September 2012. We started TTC following our 1st wedding anniversary and got our BFP on 28th/29th of September :) I'm a social worker for children with disabilities. I also do charity work at a weekend with children and young people with disabilities :)

You will not believe this BUT: Romanian ceremony dress arrived back - with MORE stains than it arrived with the first time!!!! No time to send it back again - mixture of scuffy dirt marks and white cleaning fluid despite supposedly being spot cleaned and dry cleaned twice! :/ Invites arrived but Hobbycraft didn't have the exact same as card for me to make the additional inserts so had to buy thinner lighter card...

      @jen150912  Sent it back to the dress shop in England 3 weeks ago to be cleaned by them cos there was no time to sent it back to forever yours. Scared I will take it to the dry cleaner who will take my money and not get the stains out :/ It's also supposedly been dry cleaned twice already?? Their only advice was to stick it on a gentle wash in the machine with no fabric softener. Can't get a refund - it was a free dress when I bought my 4 BM dressesx

      • jen150912That's awful 😞 I highly doubt that it's actually been dry cleaned by them to be honest hun - there's no way that the stains would still be there if it had been after b3ing done twice... xx

        • hugsnkisses1499@peaches  don't put into the washing machine even on a gentle wash i've had disasters !! i've spot cleaned silk/delicate fabrics in a sink. xx

          • jennsmith84@peaches  I cleaned my wedding dress in the washing machine on a silk wash and then let it drip dry and it looked brand new, I was told om the dress shop to wash it inside out as well x

              Thanks ladies - ended up making H2B take me down to Morrisons last night 10 mins before they shut and met a woman behind the dry cleaning counter who is also getting married and promised to have her manager look at it today and that it would be back to me by Wednesday. She also said she is on tonight again and will personally spend time looking for any marks that didn't come out and put it through again.... I could have kissed her lol xxx
