I'm Mrs G! Brian and I met on Match.com in May 2009 and we married in Sept 2012 :) it was a whirlwind, and totally turned my world the right way round again :)
H2B gets made redundant on 31st March... oh well, at least we know now after months of speculation! x

I'm facing a similar situation hun. I had a letter from my work on Saturday to say that due to the impending budget cuts (we are funded by the Welsh Assembly Govt) we will be having a series of consultation meetings, first one on Thursday next week, to discuss what is going to happen, so I may also be facing a redundancy depending on what is decided after the consultation meetings. xx
Yeah, his letter came through y'day, it's an ok package - will tide us by for a couple mths while he looks for something else, or be a nice wee addition to the wedding fund if he gets a taxi job straightaway! He's a civillian driver with Strathclyde Police, so they're hit by the same budget cuts as you - the whole process was a complete farce and there has been so many rumours/leaked snippetsof info that they would have been better just laying it all out on the table before xmas xx
