Is chatting to a jewellrey maker about making necklaces for my BMs - hopefully they won't be too expensive!!

They do make rings to fit around engagement rings as well though. I saw a representative of Smooch Rings and was totally unimpressed. He phoned back to make an appointment to visit and asked if I had seen any I particularly liked but then he didn't bring the one I liked with him. Also, I thought he was really expensive. The guy in Hamilton is much cheaper but the quality's just as good. Also, he'll make a mock up in silver so you can see what it's like before he makes the actual ring. xx
- jen150912AUTOR@littlemissshowoff well that's put me right off Smooch lol! I'd thought about £500 for both mine an his rings - do you think that's about right or am I under-estimating? I'll see how a plain band looks beside my ring - it's not got a huge setting, but it is shaped - and see where we go from there... thanks for the info on Smooch! xx
- littlemissshowoffThat's about how much smooch were charging us for just Dougie's ring! (One of the many reasons we didn't go with him!). I would definately recommend my place. It's called Zanders and is right opposite the train station. I think about £500 would be about right with them. xx

Typically Brian wants something 'different' and his choice is £495 I'm just after a plain band the same width as my engagement ring, so not a lot of expense there... I'll keep your place in mind when we start looking properly - I'm going to chance it May 2012 and ask the jewellers that I got my ring from about them when I'm getting mine cleaned etc, and see if they'll do us a deal... returnng custom and all that! xx
